Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has invited online applications for the post of Work Inspector (Mechanical) 2025-26, under various works departments of the Government of Bihar. BTSC Work Inspector 2025: Important Dates

Eligible candidates can apply online for 493 Vacancies of Work Inspector (Mechanical) in Various departments, Bihar Patna, for regular appointment to the post of Work Inspector (Mechanical) through the General Administration Department, Bihar, under the Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC). The Online application process started on 12^th December 2025 on the Official Website of BTSC. The last date for the application, as per the Advertisement of BTSC-2025, is January 12^th, 2026.

➤ The SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD Category candidates belonging to a State other than the State of Bihar will be treated under the Unreserved category.

BTSC Work Inspector 2025: Vacancy Breakup

➤ There shall be 35% horizontal reservation for women.

➤ The number of Vacancies for the BTSC recruitment is PROVISIONAL and may increase or decrease.

BTSC Work Inspector 2025 Educational Qualification 

➤ Candidates must have passed the Matriculation (10th) class from any recognised Board of India.

➤ Also passed the Machinist/ Fitter/ Wireman/Electrician trade examination from a recognised Industrial Training Institute (ITI).

How to Apply for BTSC Work Inspector Recruitment 2025

01^st Step: Visit the Official website of the Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC). Using the link: https://btsc.bihar.gov.in/

02^nd Step: Click on the ‘Recruitment‘ Tab available at the left of the page. It will lead to a new website.

03^rd Step: Then click on the link “Apply Online“. It will take you to a new page.

04^th Step: If you have not registered before, click on Sign Up, If you have registered yourself before, then click on Login.

05^th Step: After filling the form properly, click on the “Submit” button. Login ID and Password will be generated and will be sent to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number. Please note down the Login ID and password for future reference.

06^th Step: Next, make the payment using the available options. Check the application fee.

07^th Step: Please preview the application form and verify all the information you have filled in before final submission, as candidates will not be able to edit/modify the application form after submitting it in this step.

08^th Step: After submitting the form successfully, the user is advised to download and print the online Application form for future reference using the print form Option.
