Bihar Police SI 2025 Important Date
Eligible Male, female & transgender candidates can apply online for the recruitment of 1799 Sub-Inspector (SI) vacancies in the Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC). The Online application started on 26th September 2025 on the BPSSC’s Official website. The last date for the application, as per the notification of BPSSC-2025, is 26th October 2025.

Bihar Police SI 2025 Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution.
Height:
For the Unreserved (UR) category and backward class men: 165 cms.
SC/ST (male): 160 cms.
Females of all categories: 155 cms.
Chest (for Men only):
For the Unreserved (General) Category/ Backward Classes & Extremely Backward Classes, Male: 81 – 86 cms.
Males belonging to SC/ST: 79-84 cms.
● Physical standards for Transgender (Third Gender) Candidates and the standards of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be the same as those of female candidates from backward classes.
