Eligible candidates can apply online for the recruitment of 9389 Vacancies for the post of Postgraduate Teacher (PGT) and Trainee Graduate Teacher (TGT) in the Directorate of Secondary Education in Assam. The online application was started on the Official website of the Directorate of Secondary Education on 21st October 2024. The last date for the application, as per the notification of DSE 2024, is 14th November 2024.

Eligibility / Qualification / Experience
Trainee Graduate Teacher:
The Candidates must have a Graduation degree in Science (Hons)n or Physics, Chemistry, or Biology with Mathematics as the main subject with 50% marks OR
Post Graduation degree with mathematics Honours or Physics, Chemistry, or Biology from any recognized University/ Institute and
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ Bachelor of Teaching (B.T) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institutions.
Post Graduate Teacher:
Candidates must be a Post Graduation in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from any recognized university And
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in education (B.Ed.) from any Institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.
Notes: Degree obtained in off-campus and distance education shall not be valid.
