Eligible Candidates can apply online for recruitment to 321 Vacancies for the post of Administrative Officer (AO) in the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL). NICL AO Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualification
● Finance (CA & CMA):
◦ Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost and Management Accountant (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, earlier known as ICWAI) AND
◦ Graduation / Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Candidates.
● Legal:
◦ Graduate / Post Graduate in Law from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ ST/PwBD) Candidates.
● Information Technology:
◦ B.E / B.Tech/ M.E / M.Tech. in Computer Science /Information Technology /MCA from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) candidates.
● Automobile Engineers:
◦ B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E./ M.Tech. in Automobile Engineering or
◦ B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech. in any branch of Engineering together with Diploma (one year duration) in Automobile Engineering from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Candidates.
● Risk Engineers:
◦ Engineering (Graduation/ Post-graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
● Company Secretaries:
◦ ACS/ FCS from ICSI and
◦ Graduation/ Post-graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Candidates.
● Agriculture:
◦ Graduate (04 years)/ Post Graduate in Agriculture/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree Examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Candidates.
● Generalist Officers:
◦ Graduate /Post Graduate in any Stream from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree Examinations (at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD) Candidates.

How to Apply for NICL AO Recruitment 2026.
Step 01: Visit the Official Website of the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL). Use the link https://nationalinsurance.nic.co.in/
Step 02: Click on the ‘Recruitment‘ option available on the right side of the page.
Step 03: Then click on the link ‘DETAILED ADVERTISEMENT – RECRUITMENT OF 321 ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS (SCALE – I)(GENERALISTS & SPECIALISTS) 2026-27‘ Tab available at the middle of the page.
04 Step: Next, select the link “Click here to Apply online.” It will lead to a new website.
05 Step: If you have not registered before, click on ‘Click here for New Registration ‘. If you have registered yourself before, then enter your registered Number and password and click on ‘Login’.
06 Step: After filling the form properly, click on the “Submit ” button. A login ID and Password will be generated and will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number. Please note down the Login ID and Password for future reference.
07 Step: Then to upload a photo & sign, candidates must log in by using their Login ID and Password. Check the size of the image & sign.
08 Step: Next, make the payment using the available options. Check the application fee.
09 Step: Please preview the application form and check all the information you have filled/ entered before final submission, as after submitting the form in this step, the candidate will not be able to edit/modify the application form.
10 Step: After successful submission of the form, the user is advised to download & take the printout of the Online Application Form using the print form option for future reference using print form option.
