Important Date for RBI Assistant 2026
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for 650 posts of Assistant in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). under the Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India. The Online application started on 16th February 2026 on the Official website of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The last date for application as per the Notification of RBI -2026 is 08th March 2026.
● Online application forms submitted only may be downloaded/ printed up to 23rd March 2026.
● Applicants are advised to apply before the last date, as the server may have some technical issues due to a lot of traffic on the last date of application.
● The vacancies are tentative and may increase/ decrease with any notice. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the RBI recruitment.

RBI Assistant 2026 Educational Qualification (01.02.2026)
● Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General and OBC (for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates, a simple “pass class” is sufficient) from any recognized University/ institute of India.
● Candidates must possess knowledge of word Processing on a PC.
● You must be proficient in the Local Language (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) of the state or region for which you are applying.

01st Step: Visit the official website of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) using the link https://website.rbi.org.in
02nd Step: Click on the link “Quick Links” available at the bottom of the page. It will lead to a new website.
03rd Step: Next, click on the ‘Current Vacancies‘ option.
04th Step: Select the link “Recruitment for the Post of Assistant – Panel Year 2025 in Reserve Bank of India“. It will take you to a new page.
05th Step: Then, click on the “Online Application Form” link. It will take you to a new page.
06th Step: If you have not registered before, click on ” Click here for New Registration”, if you have registered yourself before, then click on “Login”
07th Step: After filling the form properly, click on the “Submit” button. Login ID and Password will be generated and will be sent to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number. Please note down the Login ID and Password for future reference.
08th Step: To upload a photo & sign, candidates must login using their Login ID and Password. Check the size of the image & sign.
09th Step: Next, make the payment using available options. Check the application fee.
10th Step: Please preview the application form and check all the information you have filled/entered before final submit as after submitting the form in this step, the candidate will not be able to edit/modify the application form.
11th Step: After successful submission of the form, the user is advised to download & take the printout of the Online Application Form using the print form option for future reference using print Form option.
