Important Date for RBI Grade ‘B’ 2025
Eligible candidates can apply online for 120 Vacancies for the post of Grade ‘B’ Officer in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) under the Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India. The Online application started on 10th September 2025 on the Official website of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The last date for the application as per the Notification of RBI – 2025 is 30th September 2025 (till 06:00 PM).
🎯 Online application forms submitted only may be downloaded/ printed up to 15th October 2025.
🎯 Applicants are advised to apply before the last date, as the server may have some technical issues due to a lot of traffic on the last date of application.

RBI Grade ‘B’ 2025 Educational Qualification (01.09.2025)
Officer in Grade ‘B’ (General)
Graduate Level: Graduation in any discipline (or equivalent technical/ professional qualification) with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Post Graduate Level: Post-graduate in any discipline (or equivalent technical/ professional qualification) with at least 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/ years.
Officer in Grade ‘B’ (DEPR)
MA/ MSC in Economics or MA/ MSC in courses such as Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, Financial Economics, Industrial Economics, Development Economics, and International Economics.
Grade ‘B’ Officer (DSIM)
A. Master’s Degree with a minimum 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters/ years or an equivalent grade/ CGPA in Statistics / Mathematics / Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ Quantitative Economics/ Econometrics/ Informatics or any other related branches of these areas from a recognized Indian/ Foreign University/ Institute approved/ recognized by Government/ UGC/ AICTE OR
B. Master’s Degree with a minimum 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters/ years or an equivalent grade/ CGPA in Data Science / Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/Big Data Analytics or any other related branches of these areas from a recognized Indian/ Foreign University/ Institute approved/ recognized by Government/UGC/ AICTE OR
C. 01st Step: Visit the official website of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) using the link https://website.rbi.org.in
02nd Step: Click on the link “Quick Links” available at the bottom of the page. It will lead to a new website.
03rd Step: Next, click on the ‘Current Vacancies‘ option.
04th Step: Select the link “Direct Recruitment for the Posts of Officers in Grade ‘B’ (Direct Recruit-DR) (On Probation-OP) (General/DEPR/DSIM) Cadres – Panel Year – 2025 in Reserve Bank of India (RBI)“. It will take you to a new page.
05th Step: Then, click on the “Online Application” link. It will take you to a new page.
06th Step: If you have not registered before, click on ” Click here for New Registration”, if you have registered yourself before, then click on “Login”
07th Step: After filling the form properly, click on the “Submit” button. Login ID and Password will be generated and will be send to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number. Please note down the Login ID and Password for future reference.
08th Step: To upload a photo & sign, candidates must login using their Login ID and Password. Check the size of the image & sign.
09th Step: Next, make the payment using available options. Check the application fee.
10th Step: Please preview the application form and check all the information you have filled/entered before final submit as after submitting the form in this step, the candidate will not be able to edit/modify the application form.
11th Step: After successful submission of the form, the user is advised to download & take the printout of the Online Application Form using the print form option for future reference using print Form option.
RBI Grade ‘B’ Recruitment 2025 Pay Scale
Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹78,450/-p.m in the pay scale of ₹78450-4050(9)-114900-EB-4050(2)-123000-4650(4)-141600 (16 years) applicable to officers in Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Comensatory Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, learning Allowance, House Rent Allownce as per rules in force orm time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are ₹1,50,374/- approximately.
