Eligible male and female candidates can apply online for the recruitment of 82 vacancies for the post of Deputy superintendent archaeologist & Cabin Safety Inspector in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The online application started on 17th August 2024 on the Official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The last date for the application as per notification of UPSC – 2024 is 05th September 2024.

Eligibility / Qualification / Experience
01. Deputy Superintendent Archaeologist.
Education: Master’s degree in Archaeology/ Indian History (with ancient Indian History or Medieval Indian History as a subject or paper) OR master’s degree in Anthropology(with Stone Age Archaeology as a subject or paper) Or Master’s degree in Geology (with Pleistocene Geology as a subject or paper) from any recognized University/ Institute.
postgraduate or Advanced Diploma in Archaeology of a duration of at least one year from a recognized University/ Institute.
Experience: Minimum 03 years of field experience in Archaeology.
Max. age: UR – 35 years | OBC -38 years | SC/ST – 40 years | PwBD – 45 years.
02. Cabin Safety Inspector.
Education: Candidates must have passed Intermediate from any recognized Board.
Experience: Minimum 10 years experience as Cabin Crew & Presently working as cabin crew.
Max. age: UR/EWS – 40 years | OBC – 43 years | SC/ST – 45 years | PwBD – 50 years.

How to Fill/ Apply Form
Step 01: Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) using the link https://upsc.gov.in/
Step 02: Click on the ‘Recruitment‘ tab and select the ‘Online Recruitment Application (ORA)’ option available at the top of the page. It will lead to a new website.
Step 03: If you have not registered before click on ‘New Registration’, if you have registered yourself before then click on “Already Registered”
Step 04: After filling the form properly click on “Submit” button. Login ID and Password will be generated and will be send to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number. Please note down the Login ID and Password for future reference.
Step 05: To upload a photo & sign, candidates must login using their Login ID and Password. Check the size of the photo & sign.
Step 06: Next, make the payment using the available options. Check the application fee.
Step 07: Please preview the application form and check all the information you have filled/entered before final submit as after submitting the form in this step, the candidate will not be able to edit/modify the application form.
Step 08: After submitting the application in Step 08, candidates are required to take a printout of the application form. Click on “Application printout/reprint”. Check the last date to print the application.
