Important Dates
The eligible applicant can apply online for the direct recruitment on 83 vacancies for the post of advocate in Allahabad High Court under the Utter Pradesh Higher Judicial Service – 2023. The online application has started on 15th March 2024 on the official website of Allahabad High Court. The last date for the application as per the notification of UPHJS – 2023 is 30th April 2024.
Applicants are advised to apply before the last date as server may have some technical issues due to a lot of traffic on the last date of the application.
Application forms submitted only may be downloaded/printed up to 07th May 2024 till 23:59 hrs. Hardcopy of the application form will not be accepted after 31.05.2024.

🎯 Number of vacancies of Direct Recruitment to the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service – 2023 are PROVISIONAL and may increase or decrease.
🎯 There shall be 20% horizontal reservation for women.
🎯 04% horizontal reservation will be provided to Differently Abled Candidates.
🎯 The aforesaid horizontal reservations will be provided in a compartmentalized manner. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category candidates will be applicable for the candidates belonging to State of Uttar Pradesh only.
🎯 To avail benefit of reservation, SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category candidates must submit Caste/Relevant Certificate in the proforma prescribed by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh and issued by the competent authority along with a Domicile Certificate of the State of Uttar Pradesh.
🎯 The candidates who want to avail the benefit of reservation under PwD category will have to submit relevant certificate in the proforma prescribed by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh and issued by the competent authority.
🎯 The SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category candidates belonging to States other than State of Uttar Pradesh will be treated under Unreserved category.
Eligibility/ Qualification/ Experience
🎯 The candidate must not be already in the service of the Union or State.
🎯 Candidate must have been minimum seven years an advocate having continuous practice.
🎯 Candidate must have been engaged independently for conducting minimum 30 cases (other than bunch cases) for Unreserved and EWS categories and minimum 24 cases (other than bunch cases) for SC/ST/OBC in the preceding three years before any court from the year of publication of advertisement for recruitment.

How to Fill /Apply Form:
The submission of application for the direct recruitment on the vacancy of 83 advocates in Allahabad High Court under the Utter Pradesh Higher Judicial Service – 2023 has started on 15th March 2024 on the official website of Allahabad High Court. The last date of the submission of application form for the posts of advocate as per notification under U.P.H.J.S. is 30th April 2024.
Step 01: Visit the official website of Allahabad High Court. https://www.allahabadhighcourt.in/
Step 02: Click on the link U.P.H.J.S.-2023 available at the right side of the bottom. It will lead to a new website.
Step 03: If you have not registered before, click on “Online Registration Form”, if you have registered yourself before then click on “Login”.
Step 04: After filling the form properly click on “Submit” button. Login ID and Password will be generated and will be sent to the registered e-mail id and mobile number. Please note down the Login ID and Password for future reference.
Step 05: To upload photo & sign, candidates must login using their Login ID and Password. Check the size of the photo & sign.
Step 06: Next, make the payment using available options. Check the application fee.
Step 07: Please preview the application form and check all the information you have filled/entered before final submit as after submitting the form in this step, the candidate will not be able to edit/modify the application form.
Step 08: After submitting the application in Step 07, candidates are required to take a printout of the application form. Click on “Application printout/reprint”. Check the last date to print the application.
Step 09: The candidates are directed to paste the same self-attested color passport-size photograph, as scanned and uploaded, on the printed hard copy of the Online Recruitment Application as on the Verification Card, only the space specified for the same.
Step 10: Candidates are required to write the words “DIRECT RECRUITMENT TO THE U.P.H.J.S. – 2023” on the top of the Envelope while submitting the Printout (Hard Copy) of the Online Recruitment Application along with the copies of the specified self-attested documents/certificates as per notification. The envelope with the application is to be sent to the following address before the last date.
🎯 Advocates practicing within the State of U.P.:- Before the District & Sessions Judge of the District or the Registrar General, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad or the Senior Registrar, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, Lucknow, as the case may be, after obtaining requisite forwarding along with the requisite documents on or before 20 May 2024.
🎯 Advocates practicing outside the State of U.P.:- The candidates shall obtain requisite forwarding by the District and Sessions judge of the District /Registrar General/Registrar of the High Court/Secretary General of the Supreme Court, as the case may be. Duly filled in and forwarded application form with the requisite documents shall be sent directly by the candidate to the Registrar (Judicial) (Selection & Appointment/Seniority), 1st Floor, mediation & Conciliation Centre Building, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, PIN-211017 on before 31st May 2024.
Note: Any application form will not be accepted after received on 31.05.2024.
