Eligible applicants can apply online for the recruitment of 17 Factory Inspector (General/ Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical) vacancies in the Labour Resources Dept. Govt of Bihar. through the Bihar Public Service Commission 2026. The online application is available on 12th January 2026 on the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission. The last date for the application as per the notification of BPSC – 2026 is 02nd February 2026.

➣ The number of vacancies in the Recruitment of the Bihar Public Service Commission 2026 is PROVISIONAL and may increase or decrease.
➣ The aforesaid horizontal reservations will be provided in a compartmentalised manner. Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ PwD category candidates will apply only to the candidates belonging to the State of Bihar.
➣ To avail the benefit of reservation, SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ PwD category candidates must submit a Caste/Relevant Certificate in the proforma prescribed by the Govt. of Bihar and issued by the competent authority along with a Domicile Certificate of the State of Bihar.
➣ The SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category candidates belonging to States other than the State of Bihar will be treated under the Unreserved category.
BPSC Factory Inspector 2026 Educational Qualification
➣ A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, etc.) or Medicine (MBBS) from a recognized University.
➣ Min. 02 years of practical experience in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine in a reputed firm or Government Department.
➣ Practical training during a university course can count for up to one year of experience.
➣ knowledge of reading and writing Hindi in Devanagaric script.

How to Apply for Bihar BPSC Factory Inspector 2026.
Step 01: Visit the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission. https://bpscpat.bihar.gov.in/
Step 02: Click on the ‘Online Application‘ Tab available on the left side of the page. It will lead to a new website.
Step 03: If you have not registered before, click on “Online Registration”; if you have registered yourself before, then click on “Login”.
Step 04: After filling the form properly, click on the “Submit” button. Login ID and Password will be generated and will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number. Please note down the Login ID and Password for future reference.
Step 05: To upload a photo & sign, candidates must login using their Login ID and Password. Check the size of the photo & sign.
Step 06: Next, make the payment using the available options. Check the application fee.
Step 07: Please preview the application form and check all the information you have filled/entered before final submit as after submitting the form in this step, the candidate will not be able to edit/modify the application form.
Step 08: After submitting the application in Step 07, candidates are required to take a printout of the application form. Click on “Application printout/reprint”. Check the last date to print the application.
