Eligible candidates can apply online for the recruitment of 682 Sub-Statistical Officers (SSO) and Block-Statistical Officers (BSO) vacancies. 231 vacancies are reserved for women. Under the directorate of Economics and Statistics, Bihar. The Online application started on 01st April 2025 on the BSSC Official website. The last date for the application, as per the notification of BSSC-2025, is 21st April 2025.
🎯 The last date for depositing the exam fee is 19th April 2025.
🎯 Online application forms submitted only may be downloaded/ printed up to 21st April 2025.
🎯 Applicants are advised to apply before the last date as the server may have some technical issues due to a lot of traffic on the last date of application.

BSSC SSO, BSO 2025: How to Apply
Step 1: Visit the Official website of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission website: https://bssc.bihar.gov.in.
Step 2: To apply, click on the Application Form (CLICK HERE FOR REGISTRATION) Link.
Step 3: Then click on the link of the Online Application for the SUB STATISTICAL OFFICER/ BLOCK STATISTICAL OFFICER Advt. No -01/25 and follow the instructions.
Step 4: On the Registration Page, applicants have to fill form properly and submit them.
Step 5: After Successful Registration, a system-generated Registration Number and Password will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
Step 6: After completing the registration process, login to the homepage of http://www.onlinebssc.com/ with the username and password received on the registered mobile number and email ID.
Step 7: Next, make a payment using the bank payment gateway.
Step 8: After successful payment, fill in the educational details and save before submitting.
Step 9: Then, upload your photograph and scanned signature.
Step 10: After uploading the photograph and signature candidate has to take a LIVE PHOTO and upload it.
Step 11: After uploading a live photo of the candidates, upload the entire required document as per the information entered in all the previous steps.
Step 12: Accept the terms and conditions and click the submit button for final submission.
Step 13: Take print out of the completed online application form and payment receipt for future reference.
