The Eligible Candidates can apply online for the recruitment of 44 Vacancies for the posts of Scientific Assistant, Engineering Assistant, Technician Gr. I, Junior Hindi Translator Assistant Gr.II and Assistant Librarian under the Ministry of Power, engaged in Research and Development in the fields of generation, transmission, distribution, and operation of electricity supply systems.
The online application started on 05th May 2025 on the Official website of the Central Power Research Institute (CPRI). The last date for the applicant, as per the notification of CPRI-2025, is 25th May 2025.

Eligibility / Qualification / Experience (as on: 25.05.2025)
Scientific Assistant
Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from a recognized University with 5 years of experience.
Age: Max- 35 years
Engineering Assistant.
First Class 3-year Diploma in Engineering / Technology in Electrical / Civil with 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
Age: Max- 35 years
Technician Grade:
ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical.
Age: Max- 28 years
Junior Hindi Translator
A degree from a recognized University with Hindi and English as Elective Subjects.
Age: Max- 30 years
Assistant Grade II:
First Class BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com/ BBA/ BBM / BCA degree from a recognized University and minimum grade B in Basic Computer Course (BCC) conducted by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) as on the closing date of the recruitment application.
Age: Max- 30 years
Assistant Librarian
Candidates must have a diploma degree in Library Science from any recognized University.
Age: Max- 30 years

CPRI Recruitment 2025: How to Apply
Step 1: Visit the Official website of the Central Power Research Institute(CPRI) https://cpri.res.in/
Step 2: Click on the ‘Career’ link tab and select the ‘Current Openings‘ option available at the top of the page. It will lead to a new website.
Step 3: Click on the link https://onlineapplication.org.in/#/ and follow the instructions.
Step 4: If you have not registered before, click on Click here.’ If you have registered yourself before, then click on ‘ Click here’
Step 5: After Successful Registration, a system-generated Registration Number and Password will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
Step 6: After completing the registration process, login to the homepage of https://onlineapplication.org.in/#/app/login with the username and password received on the registered mobile number and email ID.
Step 7: Next, make a payment using the bank payment gateway.
Step 8: After successful payment, fill in the educational details and save before submitting.
Step 9: Then, upload your photograph and scanned signature.
Step 10: After uploading the photograph and signature candidate has to take a LIVE PHOTO and upload it.
Step 11: After uploading a live photo of the candidates, upload the entire required document as per the information entered in all the previous steps.
Step 12: Accept the terms and conditions and click the submit button for final submission.
Step 13: Print out the completed online application form and payment receipt for future reference.
