IBPS SO XVI Recruitment 2026: Important Dates
The eligible applicant can apply online for the recruitment of 745 vacancies for the post of Specialist Officers in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) XVI. Under the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The online application has started on 01st July 2026 on the official website of IBPS. The last date for the application as per the Notification of IBPS -2026 is 21st July 2026.
🎯 The last date for making online fee payments is 21st July 2026.
🎯 Applicants are advised to apply before the last date as the server may have some technical issues due to a lot of traffic on the last date of application.
🎯 Preliminary online examinations will be held in August 2026.
🎯 Main online examinations will be held in November 2026.

🎯 IT Officer (scale I):
Candidates must have 04 years of Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation.

🎯 Agriculture Field Officer (Scale I):

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online mains Examination for CRP SPL -XVI will subsequently be called for an Interview.
How to Apply for IBPS SO XVI Recruitment 2026.
Step 01: Visit the official website of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). https://www.ibps.in/
Step 02: Click the link “CRP – Specialist Officers” on the left side of the middle. It will lead to a new website.
Step 03: Click on the link “Apply online for common Recruitment process under CRP- SPL XVI “ available in the middle of the page. It will lead to a new website.
Step 05: If you have not registered before, click on ‘Click here for New Registration ‘. If you have registered yourself, then fill in the registration number & password, and then click on ‘Submit’
Step 06: After filling the form properly, click on the “Submit” button. Login ID and password will be generated and will be sent to the registered e-mail id and mobile number. Please note down the Login ID and password for future reference.
Step 07: To upload a photo & sign, candidates must login using their Login ID and password. Check the size of the photo and the sign.
Step 08: Next, make the payment using the available options. Check the application fee.
Step 09: Please preview the application form and check all the information you have filled/entered before final submission as after submitting the form in this step, a candidate will not be able to edit/modify the application form.
Step 10: After submitting the application in Step 09, candidates are required to take a printout of the application form. Click on “Application printout/reprint”. Check the last date to print the application.
