The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has invited online applications for the Posts of Technician Grade I Signal & Grade III through various Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB). Applications from the candidates will be accepted online only. All important details are attached below the page.

Important Dates RRB Technician 2026

Eligible male and female candidates can apply online for the recruitment of 6557 vacancies for Grade I and III in the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB). The online application started on 30^th June 2026 on the Official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The last date for the application as per the notification of RRB – 2026 is 29^th July 2026 (till 23.59 hours).

Last date for Application fee payment for the submitted applications is 31^st July 2026.

🎯 Modification and Editing form will be done between 01^st August 2026 to 10^th August 2026.

🎯 Applicants are advised to apply before the last date, as the server may have some technical issues due to a lot of traffic on the last date of application.

🎯 The vacancies are tentative and may increase/ decrease with any notice. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the RRB recruitment.

RRB Technician 2026: Educational Qualification

Railway RRB Technician Grade I Signal: 323 Vacancies.

Candidates must have a BE/ B.Tech/ Engineering Diploma, or B.Sc in Engineering or Equivalent eligibility from a recognized University/Institution.

Railway RRB Technician Grade III: 6234 Vacancies.

Candidates must have passed the 10th Class (Matriculation) from any recognized board.

The applicant must have an ITI Degree in the Related field.

Note: Those awaiting results of their final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification SHOULD NOT apply.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2026: Salary

Technician Grade Signal I: Basis Pay at  ₹35,400/- to ₹1,12,400/-

Technician Grade III: Basic pay ₹19,900/- to ₹63,200/-

Selection Process of RRB Technician Recruitment 2026

Stage I: Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Stage II: Document Verification (DV).

Stage III: Medical Examination (ME).

RRB Technician Recruitment 2026: Application Fee

The applicant pays the application fee online only using a debit card/ credit card/ Net banking ‘FEE ONCE PAID SHALL NOT BE REFUNDED’

🎯 Out of ₹ 500/-, an amount of ₹ 400/- shall be refunded, duly deducting bank charges after appearing for the Preliminary Examination.

🎯 This fee of ₹ 250/- shall be refined in due course, duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing in CBT.

🎯 Bank charges will be deducted from the Application fee before issuing a refund.

Notes: Only candidates who attend CBT will get a refund of their examination fee as mentioned above.

How to Apply for RRB Technician Recruitment 2026.

01^st Step: Visit the Official Website of RRB Using the Link https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/#/auth/landing

02^nd Step: Register: Click on “Register Now” under the “login” section to Complete One-Time Registration (OTR).

03^rd Step: Fill Registration Details: Enter your name, DOB, mobile number, email ID and other personal details.

04^th Step: Upload Documents: Upload a scanned passport-size photo and signature.

05^th Step: Login: After registration, log in with your Credentials.

06^th Step: Click on “Apply”, go to the “Apply” tab, and select “New Examination 2025”.

07^th Step: Pay Application fee.

08^th Step: Review and Submit: verify all details, then submit the form.

09^th Step: Download form: Save/print the final application form for future use.
