Important Dates
Eligible applicants can apply online for the recruitment of 509 vacancies for the post of Head Constable in the Delhi Police under the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) 2025. The online application Process started on 29th September 2025 on the Official website of the Staff Selection Commission. The last date for the application as per the Notification of SSC – 2025 is 20th October 2025.
➤ The last date for making online application fee payment is 21st October 2025.
➤ Applicants are advised to apply before the last date, as the server may have some technical issues due to a lot of traffic on the last date of the application.
➤ The application form correction between 27th October 2025 to 29th October 2025.
➤ The online computer-based examination will be held in December 2025/ January 2026.
SSC Constable 2025 Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the (10+2) Intermediate/ Equivalent from any recognized board of the State/ Central.
● Speed in English Typing: 30 wps.
● Speed in Hindi Typing: 25 wps.

03. Typing Test on Computer:
The typing test shall be of 10 minutes duration. Minimum qualifying speed shall be 30 wpm in English and 25 wpm in Hindi. Candidates will be provided with a printed passage containing a minimum of 400 words or 200 strokes in English or 350 words or 1750 strokes in Hindi.

How to Apply for SSC Constable Recruitment 2025
Step 01: Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). https://ssc.gov.in/
Step 02: Click on the link ‘Apply’ It will lead to a new website.
Step 03: If you have not registered before, click on “Register now”, if you have registered yourself before then click on “Login”.
Step 04: After filling the form properly click on “Submit” button. Login ID and Password will be generated and will be send to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number. Please note down the Login ID and Password for future reference.
Step 05: To upload a photo & sign, candidates must login using their Login ID and Password. Check the size of the photo & sign.
Step 06: Next, make the payment using available options. Check the application fee.
Step 07: Please preview the application form and check all the information you have filled/entered before final submit as after submitting the form in this step, the candidate will not be able to edit/modify the application form.
Step 08: After submitting the application in Step 07, candidates are required to take a printout of the application form. Click on “Application printout/reprint”. Check the last date to print the application.
